Employment law attorneys have experience covering a wide range of employment related issues, including:

  • Complaints related to the violation of federal or state anti-discrimination and civil rights laws relating to gender, race, age, national origin, religion, marital status, sexual orientation or disabilities
  • Sexual Harassment
  • Whistleblower protection and retaliation

  • Employee stock and stock option agreements
  • Immigration matters, visas and green cards
  • Employee privacy
  • Employee discipline

  • Contract and tax issues for independent contractors
  • Workplace health and safety and employer safety compliance

Drunk Driving

Criminal defense attorneys represent clients who have been cited for drunk driving or other traffic-related violations.  Even if this is your first offense, the penalties for driving while intoxicated (DWI) or driving under the influence (DUI) can be serious. Such penalties include:

  • License suspension
  • Fines
  • Attendance in alcohol prevention programs
  • Jail time

You may also be charged with higher insurance premiums for a period of several years.  If you’ve been charged with drunk driving, you need the services of a drunk driving lawyer to avoid the suspension of your license, or at least obtain “restricted status”, which will enable you to drive to work.
